Reading:
Home to Big Stone Gap - Adriana Trigiani - chick lit version of Lake Wobegon, or something in that area. Undemanding, just slightly quirky
Jeeves Omnibus Vol.1 - still on the Wodehouse kick

Bought:
None - no books, anyway. Have acquired paint for the house redecorating that will happen over the Easter weekend; white walls = repaint every couple of years.

Cooked:
Pumpkin Muffins
Parsnip pancakes
Black bean & sweet potato stew
Roast rhubarb

One of my vague intentions, now that the play is over, is to try and cook a bit more - all sorts of reasons for this, but mostly because I like cooking, but tend to forget that in the middle of crazybusy. Maybe if I write it down, I'll remember. Anyway, today's batches worked really well - the muffins (from Vegan With A Vengeance by Isa Chandra) are fab, and will be breakfast for a few days. There's enough stew left over to have with something tomorrow night (maybe in a wrap?). The rhubarb was roasted because I was too lazy to turn it into crumble, but it works (Nigel Slater's idea - too simple to call it a recipe - so that's not surprising) and is very good with vanilla soy-ice cream
