Death on Beacon Hill - Patricia Ryan - another of the Seattle Mystery Bookstore books; better than yesterdays, at least so far. Possibly because there's no obvious 'romantic' pairing in view (yet).

The History of England - Jane Austen & Charles Dickens
The Book That Changed My Life - Anthology
... and half a dozen more books to give as Christmas presents, so they don't count.
The no-book-buying thing couldn't last, although I suspect I may declare January to be No-Book-Buying-Month again, as I did this year. Force myself to wage attrition on the Bought But Not Read Yet pile.
